From
Towcester
Astwell Mill is situated between the villages of Wappenham
and Helmdon. From Towcester (A5/A43 Roundabout) head
towards Silverstone/Oxford at the next roundabout (by
McDonalds) take the minor road (third left) to Abthorpe
and Wappenham. Keep on this road through Wappenham following
the signs for Helmdon. Astwell Mill is the only house
on the left approximately 1 mile after leaving Wappenham.
(Keep on this road; we are just past the turn on the
left to Astwell and Syresham).
From Brackley (and M40 junction 10)
Keep on A43 towards Silverstone, (by-passing Brackley)
at the junction with the B4525 turn left towards Banbury
(turn approximately 3 miles from roundabout with BP
garage on outskirts of Brackley). Go along the B4525
until crossroads (about 3 miles) and turn right to Helmdon.
Follow the signs for Wappenham, Astwell Mill is the
only house on the right approximately 1 mile after leaving
Helmdon.
From Banbury
From M40 (Junction 11) follow signs to Brackley. At
roundabout (at top of hill), take the B4525 to Northampton.
After approximately 7 miles turn left at crossroads
for Helmdon. Follow the signs for Wappenham, Astwell
Mill is the only house on the right approximately 1
mile after leaving Helmdon.
